Funny thing; for the longest time I thought your avatar was depicting you with spinning a lasso loop. I zoom in on it and discover it's a surfboard! HA! Completely different connotation there! Keep kickin' butt!

Good luck tomorrow for the 5k. I hope to run one in the future. Btw, thanks for the advice on my profile. I ended up getting the pdf "Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle" instead of the "The Abs Diet", but we'll see how it goes.

Thanks for the confidence!! I loved that diet because it was the first diet I've ever stuck to. Any advice to just tone up?

cliiifff! so a few weeks ago i weighed myself in the evening prior to a workout and was mildly irritated at my weight. i woke up this morning and weighed myself in (i bought a scale that shows weight, body fat % and water % too!) and i'm 5lbs lighter. i guess the scale the gym was off (paired with all the food that i'd eaten that day). just wanted to let you know so it doesn't seem like i lost 5lbs in 2 days (im not you ;)!)

Hey Clifford, you seem to be having some excellent consistent results. Would you mind letting me know what you average diet is? I seemed to have made some progress last week, but this week I seemed to have gained it all again despite doing the same things every day! Very frustrating.

So far in the past 7 days I'm down about 5lbs from my normal diet and workout routine (that I've just started maybe a month ago, which may explain the high loss, but I completely expect that to normalize to 1-3 a week soon) and my body fat is down about 1.2%!

I've been mixing up my cardio between interval runs (2/2) and HIIT on an elliptical and lifting 4-5 days a week and I'm feeling the old "gym high" I used to get when I was in high school so not only can I keep this up; I WANT to! One of the best things about this for me, personally, is that I haven't let my situation with my ex affect my dedication; this is almost the exact opposite of the situation I was in that caused me to lose her in the first place... I call that growth! I guess, in other words, I'm doing much better physically AND emotionally, how's THAT for fitness?
